Celebrating the VCE Class of 2023!

All 109 students in the Class of 2023 have successfully earned their Victorian Certificate of Education. Among them, 108 students from 91¾«Æ·â€™s graduating class have received their ATAR results.

Congratulations to every student for exemplifying the College’s values of courage and confidence throughout their senior secondary education. At 91¾«Æ· FCJ College, we pride ourselves on providing a holistic education for students that allows them to become well-rounded women ready to take on tomorrow. We recognise that a single score never fully defines our success. We believe that every girl has the potential to make her mark on the world, and we empower our students to become change-makers, to choose their own futures, and to transform the world by taking action and advocating for social change. Congratulations to the entire cohort for their ongoing commitment, collaboration, courage, and confidence to complete their VCE studies, some of which were undertaken during COVID lockdowns and sickness.

Heartfelt congratulations to Madelyn Bui for being distinguished as the Dux of 91¾«Æ· FCJ College for 2023. Madelyn’s impressive ATAR score of 99.6 stands as a testament to her exceptional academic prowess and unwavering commitment to excellence. As detailed in our profiles, Madelyn has truly embodied the spirit of a Gen girl, demonstrating versatility and active engagement in various areas of College life. Her contributions have positively impacted not only her fellow students but also the broader community.
Overall, the median ATAR was 87.4


7 students were in the top 1% of the state, and 41 students achieved an ATAR above 90. Congratulations to the following students who also achieved an ATAR over 99: Madelyn Bui 99.6, Hoi Tung (Kathy) Chang 99.45, Emily Kamel 99.45, Miranda McTigue 99.4, Fiona Pan 99.3, Chinan Yang 99.15, and Katerina Lim 99. These young women are excited to apply for tertiary studies at the University of Melbourne or Monash University. Their passions lie in Law, Arts, Medicine, Bio-Medicine, Chemical Engineering, Engineering, and Science, many with double degrees.
Our Class of 2023 attained four perfect study scores as part of their outstanding commitment during their VCE journey. The attitude and determination of the graduating class is reflective of what it means to be a 91¾«Æ· student – someone who remains positive and focused, approaches challenges head-on, has the courage to ask for help, works with their class and team, and has the confidence to keep going.
